All stoves fixed / repaired and serviced

The soot that is given off from the fire of the stove will stay and build up on the inside of the chimney / chimney liner.

This will potentially be a fire hazard, will reduce the flow of smoke up the chimney causing your stove to not operate as well as it has / should.

It will also start to destroy your chimney liner and eventually the liner will need replacing.

The simple answer is to have the chimney swept at least once a year ( usually the back end of summer before you start burning again in winter.

I charge £60 plus vat =£72 per sweep.

I also check for any issues with the stove (such as cracks / broken glass / glass seals / fire cement seals / and do a simple smoke test and ensure all is safe to use.

Fixing / Re installing of stoves

If you require stoves fixing or re installing that is no problem.

This could be:-

Broken glass

A completely bad install that needs re doing

A stove that needs new pipe work or re connecting to the chimney

New register plates (the plate that seals the underside of the chimney before the stove pipe goes up into the chimney, they can be tricky to get corrects and often are broken if made from cement board and not steel

Second hand ebay purchase type stoves re sealed and made good.

New seals and stove rope for stoves.

Access holes for chimney to be swept made in existing register plates.

What ever I am sure I will have seen similar before and will do very best to fix all.

Simple repairs of fire cement and stove rope to glass would be approx £80 plus vat.

Or a complete re install depending what is needed would be more like £300 plus vat .
