Top Stove Fitter / Fixer in Harrogate

Hello, I'm James Eastwood, I am a local Wood burning stove fitter / fixer / engineer with 20 years plus experience.

I simply come and discuss what you would like ( and discuss the usual Photos of friends / pintrest / etc. Then we come up with a plan and I get you a quote for the works.

This could involve openings made / old fire places removed / gas disconnected and removed etc.

Prices usually start from about £2,200 plus VAT including a stove such as the Portway Arundel or the Mi Fires Flicker flame or the Arada stove Hamlet Solution. If you google and find Direct Stoves they have 100s to choose from. Usually for a 3 bed semi detatched house for example a 5 Kw stove is perfect.

I usually suggest you showing me what you want from Direct Stoves and I will give you a price for either just fitting and all the works or if I can get the stove at a better price I will let you know and include in a quote.

So basic stove into an existing builders opening ( and we do all the work to open up, fit a hearth, board out with smooth fire proof boards, repair all plastering , and fit a 316 grade chimney liner / bird guard cowl /and all needed parts would be £ 2,200 plus VAT including a Portway Arundel ( as on Direct Stoves included).

£2,300 plus VAT including an Mi-Fire Flicker Flame ( as on direct stoves).

Or any thing else you want ( eg stove more expensive and I will discuss and come up with a price.)

No problem to fit your own stove ( about £1,600 plus VAT including liner and cowl).

If no chimney also no problem as we can do external flue systems that basically go diagonally out through your house wall, then up and above the roof to a suitable termination point.

Full HETAS registered and insured. Once works is complete the stove installation will be registered with HETAS and all official documents will be sent to you in the post.
